A statewide system connecting older adults, people with disabilities, veterans and caregivers with long-term services and community support.

A free, confidential, statewide resource for housing, food, healthcare, transportation, utility assistance and local community programs. Visitors can search online, call 211, use live chat or text CONNECT to 247211.

Cover Virginia: Long Term Services & Support

Explains Virginia Medicaid coverage for qualifying nursing-facility care and home- and community-based long-term services, including financial and medical eligibility considerations.

Virginia CommonHelp

Virginia’s application portal for Medicaid and other assistance programs, including prescription, food and energy assistance. Users can check eligibility, apply, upload documents and manage an existing case.

Virginia Medicare Counseling

Provides free, unbiased and confidential help understanding Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medigap, prescription coverage and assistance programs.

Information about the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, which helps certain adults age 55 and older with significant healthcare needs continue living in the community.

Free legal advice and referrals for Virginians age 60 and older regarding Medicaid, SSI, long-term care, guardianship, exploitation, abuse and certain consumer issues.

VA Aid & Attendance & Housebound Benefits

Official eligibility and application information for additional monthly pension payments available to certain qualified veterans and survivors who need assistance with daily activities or are substantially housebound.
